About the Certification

Assesses a technology professional’s ability to implement privacy by design to enable organizations to enhance privacy technology platforms and products that provide benefits to consumers, build trust and advance data privacy
CDPSE certification fills a gap and allows privacy technologists to demonstrate they understand the technical aspects of creating and managing privacy programs and solutions to ensure compliance and mitigate risk

21-hour intensive examination preparation workshop

Examination Highlights

Candidates are able to schedule their exam for any available date/ time/ location within their 365-day eligibility period
Consists of 150 multiple choice questions in a 4-hour session
Candidate receives a score of less than 450 could not get a pass in the exam. There are no limits to the number of times a candidate can take the exam

Chartered Requirements

Successfully Pass the CDPSE Examination
A minimum of 3-years of professional implementation of technical privacy by design solutions, control or security work experience
Attain and report a minimum of one hundred and twenty (120) CPE hours for a three-year reporting period and attain and report an annual minimum of twenty (20) CPE hours
